Our Percussionists

It seems like our percussionists are everywhere, doing everything. They maintain the beat, produce unique tones, and inject enthusiasm and vibrancy in a performance. Percussionists typically handle a variety of instruments within a single musical composition. Some of these include timpani, marimba, cymbals, triangle, snare drum, bass drum, drum set, tambourine, maracas, gongs, and chimes. In addition to their independent classwork, many of our percussionists also perform in Marching Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Musical Pit, and Winter Percussion competitions. Our bands wouldn’t sound this good without them!
