Millbrook Band Boosters Club

Enriching Musical Journeys, Empowering Millbrook Bands for Success

Millbrook Band Boosters Club (MBBC) is an independent organization created in 1974 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to aid Millbrook Bands in promoting and developing an outstanding music education program. From providing volunteers to fundraising we help with all the behind the scenes work it takes to make Millbrook’s extensive program successful. This allows the band director, musicians, and performers to focus on what’s really important.

Kelli Greene

Kelli Greene

President

I’m Kelli Greene and I’m excited to serve as your Band Boosters President this year. My professional background is in public health and I work as a Scientific Program Director at Duke University. I do not have a background in music but quickly recognized the nourishing environment the MHS Band Program provides for learning music and performance but also for developing young people and friendships. Outside of band, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter (proud Color Guard mom!), reading, spending time in nature and providing retirement life for senior dogs. I love the band community and am looking forward to partnering with everyone this year for the continued success of this band program.

Susan Reynolds

Susan Reynolds

Vice President

I‘m Sue Reynolds and I’m your Band Booster Vice President. Band has been a part of my life since I was a young girl. My dad was the drill team sponsor at his HS, so I followed him around until I was able to participate in my own band program. I developed a lifelong love of music and now share that passion as an elementary music teacher. This is the fourth year that my daughter has participated in the MHS band programs. We are so thankful that she has these same experiences to carry with her throughout her life. I love volunteering and look forward to serving the MHS Bands.

Kim Stine

Kim Stine

Treasurer

As a musician, former marcher, and current band mom, Kim knows the value a successful band program can bring to students. Sharing her years of experience and extensive knowledge, she has done it all, from Boosters President to Marching Band Coordinator to being dubbed the "band mom". As a stay at home mom, Kim is fortunate enough to be able to donate huge chucks of her time to the band progam.

Katie Ertmer

Katie Ertmer

Secretary

I am Katie Ertmer and I am serving as the Secretary of the Band Boosters this year. I have worked in both urban planning and public education and am currently training as an ADHD Coach. I have played piano since I was a child and was in concert, marching and jazz bands throughout my school years. I am an enthusiastic supporter of music education and how music can be a tool to help students with academic, social and life skills. As a volunteer for the last several years, I have witnessed how amazing the MHS Band program is and I am excited to be supporting this organization and working with a wonderful group of people.
